Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Studysoft (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your account
You sign in with an email magic link — we don't store passwords. Keep access to your email account secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Studysoft.
3. What Studysoft does
Studysoft builds personalized learning programs from a subject and goals you choose. It generates daily learning bites, quizzes, simpler explanations, and answers to your follow-up questions, and can read bites aloud. These are produced using third-party AI models.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write into Studysoft — your profile (name, bio), program subjects and goals, follow-up questions, and quiz answers. You grant us a limited license to store that content and send it to the AI providers we use, solely to generate and deliver the Service to you.
5. AI-generated content
Bites, quizzes, simplifications, and follow-up answers are generated by AI and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Treat them as a starting point for learning, not as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Don't rely on them for decisions that require certainty. If you spot a bad bite, you can report it in the app.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Studysoft to do anything unlawful or abusive, to submit prompts designed to extract harmful output, or to interfere with other users or the Service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are handled by the app store you purchase through and are subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that Studysoft will be uninterrupted or error-free, that generated content will be accurate, or that your programs and progress will be preserved without loss.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studysoft is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from reliance on AI-generated content.
10. Termination
You may stop using Studysoft at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know inside the app or by email. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updates.
